Three steps

A couple of minutes, most of it waiting for the download.

    Open the installer

    When the download is done, open Sakura-Client-Setup.exe. It fetches the latest Sakura and installs it for you.

    If Windows asks

    Sakura is new, so Windows may not recognise it yet and show a blue window. Select More info, then Run anyway.

    Sign in and play

    Sign in with the Microsoft account you play Minecraft with. Sakura tunes itself to your PC the first time it starts.

After you install

Updates. Sakura updates itself. The launcher downloads only what changed, so most updates take seconds.

Is it safe? Yes. Every release carries our signature, and the launcher checks Sakura’s files each time you play. Safe and fair says more.

Uninstalling. Open Windows Settings, then Apps, then Installed apps, find Sakura Client and choose Uninstall. It also removes Sakura’s game folder, worlds and screenshots included, so copy any you want to keep first: the launcher’s Settings › Game shows where it is.
